Octavius Swap — Quick Guide

Simple steps to swap tokens and manage liquidity on Octavius Swap.

What you need

1. Connect to OctaSpace

  1. Open the Octavius Swap app
  2. Click Connect Wallet
  3. Approve the connection in your wallet
  4. If asked, click Switch to OctaSpace

2. Swap tokens

  1. Open the Swap tab
  2. Choose the token you pay with (top)
  3. Choose the token you want (bottom)
  4. Enter an amount
  5. Check the estimated output
  6. Click Swap (or Approve first if asked)
  7. Confirm in your wallet and wait for the transaction
Approve means you allow the swap contract to use that token once (or until you change it). You only need to approve a token the first time.
Slippage: If the pool has low liquidity, the final amount can differ from the estimate. Start with small amounts.

3. Add liquidity

Liquidity lets others swap against your tokens. You receive LP tokens that represent your share of the pool.

  1. Open the Liquidity tab
  2. Select the token pair (e.g. OCTA + OVS)
  3. Enter amounts for both sides (or let the app match the pool ratio)
  4. Click Approve if needed, then Add Liquidity
  5. Confirm in your wallet
You usually need both tokens. For OCTA pairs, the app wraps OCTA to WOCTA automatically when required.

4. Remove liquidity

  1. Open the Liquidity tab
  2. Select Remove (or the remove section)
  3. Choose how much LP to remove (e.g. 25%, 50%, 100%)
  4. Approve LP tokens if asked
  5. Confirm Remove Liquidity in your wallet

You get back both tokens from the pool, based on the current pool balance.
